Crisis Global y el aporte de las Reservas de La Biosfera

JANUARY 12-13, 2021

We begin 2021 with a new instance in which actors from the different reserves, we can meet to share, reflect and work on deepening the model and advantages offered by the Biosphere Reserves. The prevailing development model, sustained in the exploitation of nature and inequality, turns into an alarming planetary situation, where the state of biodiversity and the ecosystems that provide the environmental basis for existence, are in a constant and increasingly accelerated deterioration.

This next meeting has as its main objectives the reflection on the contributions and benefits of the Biosphere Reserves, share, consolidate and expand the network in Chile and finally agree on tasks and activities to continue working on this model.
